Welcome to the Abram Gates’ home!! Abram, a hardware entrepreneur in Curwensville, built this 1890’s Italianate Victorian home. The parquet floors and marbleized fireplaces are just several details that give one the feeling of what this townhouse was like when it was first constructed. And…we’re happy to say over 100 years later Gates Hardware is still in business!

About Our Tea Room!  After hearing your requests for many years for a place to sit, chat and munch, we’ve been able to add a delightful room where the motto is “Dessert First”!
